My husband's grandmother was Lona. His mother was her youngest daughter Dorothy aka Pat/ Patricia. I was lucky enough to marry Brian while both Herma and Lona were still living. At Lona's 85th birthday, your grandmother played the piano. Sadly, I do not remember her but my husband does. We have a Civil War museum close by us and it has all kinds of information about the Civil War. I am not sure if I can find any information on William but I will check it out. We know so little about Octavia and her family that it would be really great to be able to have any information on them. When and where did Minton and Octavia get married? We would like any information that you can help us with. We would love to see the pictures that you have! Is there any way that you could perhaps e-mail them to us? J-Peg format works best. If you can't do it that way, We would be more than willing to send you the money to have them copied at a copy shop. When I worked at the historical society I use to take old photos to our local printing office and they did an awesome job for not too much money. I really look forward to hearing from you and am excited to have someone to work with to uncover more of the Smith/ Buck heritage. I will get to work on William and see if I can uncover any information on him! Thank you so much for your reply!
