My gggrandfather James Aurthor Gay (1882-1985)was born near Atlanta Georgia, unsure of the County. He then moved to Gainsville, TX and later to Clay County, MO. He was named after his grandfather James Aurthur Gay. But I do not know anything further about the elder James Aurthur Gay.
