I am reluctant to conclude that all their graves are unmarked, as they were properous land-owning farmers in Fayette, and I would think that some sort of marker would have been well within their means. There is a sizable private cemetery of unknown origin on LL109 in Spalding county, which once belonged to Wiley Reeves and was later owned by one of his sons, but I visited it and found mostly unmarked graves. Tho few that were marked were not Reeves. I used a probe rod to try to locate fallen tombstones, but had no success. Some of my missing ancestors belonged to "Salem Baptist Church" in Fayette for a while, but then left to found a new church somewhere. I noticed that there is/was a "New Salem Baptist Church" in Spalding, but cannot find an inventory of graves for it. On the chance that may have b! een the church they went to, do you have a list of burials at that church's cemetery? Many thanks, Paul Reeves.
