He went blind when he was about 90. He would get on a bus each summer and ride the bus to California and spend a month with each of his daughters. I don't know how he did it being blind but he did. He did this several years in a row. He could feel of money and tell you what bill it was. He would get his check and go to the bank and they would fix his money just like he wanted. When the bus would stop, people would help him and make sure he got on the right bus. He lived with my parents for awhile when I was small and he was like a father to me.
