    3. Alfred, I had not seen a reply to your recent query, so I checked what I have at hand. Unfortunately, there is no Lynwood Cemetery mentioned in the latest Fayette County cemetery book, nor are there any Ammons burials listed in the index. I also checked the Fayette County history book, but, again, there were no Ammons listed in the index. I also went to Ancestry.com, did a search for any Ammons living in Fayette County during the 1850-1870 period, but did not find any. But, there were a large number by that name living nearby in Henry County, and a smaller but significant number living in Clayton and Fulton Counties. I suggest you look in Henry County. As you likely know, these counties went through a number of boundary changes over the years, with some folks never moving, but living in different counties as a result of the changes. Bob J.
