Hi Alfred,  A few items for you  :   -- The County of Fayette was formed from Henry County and Indian Lands in 1812.  ---H enry County, Georgia, Obituaries 1908 -1929, Compiled and edited by Rhoda A. Bowen:  p. 94: Henry County Weekly, May 24, 1912: Mr. Walter W. Ammons died Sun.at his home in Covington, he is survived by his wife, 3 sisters, Mrs. F.M. Patterson, Mrs. Ema Stroud and Mrs. Fletcher Noles of Jackson. Funeral and burial at Fairview mon. p. 159: Henry County Weekly, Mar 2, 1917: Philipi News: Mention of Mrs. M.E. Knight returning fro m funeral of nephew Mr. E. L. Ammons who was brought from Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas. There were quite a few Ammons listed in "Henry County Georgia, the Mother of Counties"  by Vessie Thrasher Rainer. If I have time later, I wil try to send these also.
