He died in Fayette County in 1865. He was listed in Fayette County census records in 1840, 1850 and 1860, as well as in the Joe Brown census in 1863. This Charles Bailey is buried at the County Line Christian Church Cemetery, Fayette County, where he was listed as a charter member. He married(1) Mary Ann Westmoreland (1821-1854), one of my kin, and they had Robert c.1840, Missouri Ann c.1843, Alexandra c.1845, Louisa Josephine c.1847, John c.1849, and Mary c.1853. In 1858, he married(2) Martha A. Bishop. They had Charles C.1860, Jefferson Davis C.1862, and Medore c.1864. Hope this helps.
