I am researching my husband's grandmother's Brown line; Mattie Lou Brown Chapman Couch was the daughter of J. D. and Mary "Mollie" Brown, who ae buried in the Brown family cemetery in Fayette Co. What I can't figure for sure are J. D.'s parents. The dates work well for it to go like this, but I have not confirmed. parents of J.D.: James Anderson 1824-1916 (CSA marker) and Nancy "Annie" 1834-1908 parents of J.A.: Dempsey Brown, 1800-1853, wife Martha? parent of Dempsey: Benjamin Brown, 1758-1853 (Rev. War marker) They are all buried right there together. They are all on the censuses, but some are hard to read and I'm not sure if this is correct. Any help appreciated Janet Chapman
