This Martha Ellen Smarr, w/o of Rev. J.R. Smarr, was Martha Ellen Sneed the second wife of Rev. John Reid Smarr. They were married 11 Jan 1876 in Fayette County, Georgia. Scott actually needs a Fayette County obit from April 1883 for his Martha Smarr, who would have been Rev. John Reid Smarr's mother. He needs to prove that her maiden name was McCutchen. There is an 1860 will in "Spalding County Will Book A" for Lucretia McCutchen who names a daughter Martha Smarr along with another daughter and a son.
