Hi, I finally made it by the library and looked at the mircrofilm of the newpapers for 1925. Unfortunately, I didn't find the newpaper with Mrs. Smarr's obit in it. I will have to go to the Historical society this week and look there. On the microfilm there were missing editions of the newspaper. In the dates you are looking for there was a paper for June 12, 1925 then the next edition was June 26, 1925. I looked at both of these editions and didn't see an obit for her. I have a book of cemetery records and found her listed there as Martha Ellen Smarr (Aunt Ellen) w/o Rev J.R. Smarr b Feb 13, 1851 d Jun 11, 1925. She is buried at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. If you would like photos of any headstones in Fayette county, please let me know. I have a few cemeteries I need to go to for a some people and I would be happy to take pics for you. No charge for this, I'm happy to do it. I'll let you know what I find at the Historical Society.
