    1. Annie Cannady Covenah Lamb
    2. Does anyone have info such as the dates of birth/death burial, etc. on the children from John W. Lamb's marriages? I'm listing info on Annie Cannady Covenah who was his first wife. Louis Patrick, who was raised by Annie's parents, Daniel Madison and Sallie Bishop Cannady. gave me most of the info. Dawn Cannady has been working with me re Lamb info. I sent off for the marriage license info. His second marriage was to Ola Thelma Coleman. Her first husband was John R. Anderson. Additions and corrections appreciated. March 9 Frank Covena, a well known farmer of this county, came near losing his life in an accident this morning. Covena was building a wire fence and in stretching the wire in some manner the stretcher broke and an iron clamp flew up and struck Mr. Covena behind the ear. He was knocked senseless and for a time was thought to be dead. Physicians from this city were rushed out and report that while Covena is still living, his life is hanging by a thread. To make the accident doubly sad is the fact that he was married only one month ago. He is a nephew of Sheriff T.A. Fields and is a young man highly esteemed. SWAINSBORO FOREST BLADE 03/16/1911 (Obit provied by Mary Covenah) Mr. Frank Covena, living on Mr. J.D. Smith's place, about three and a half miles from Swainsboro, was almost instantly killed by a fence clamp, which slipped off the end of the wire last Thursday, striking him on the right side of the head and crushing in his skull. Death followed within about twenty-eight hours after he received the blow. Mr. Covena leaves a wife, having been married only two months. Besides his wife, he leaves his father, two brothers and four sisters to mourn his death. Frank had started life with all in his favor, and it is sad to see a life so full of promise taken so suddenly but the All wise Father knows best. He was buried at the family burying ground near Smithton last Saturday. Mrs. Covena was Miss Annie Canady before her marriage. Child of ANNIE CANNADY and FRANK COVENNAH is: i.
