    3. Thanks everyone for the additional info on the FIELDS family! Can anyone tell me who Tom A. FIELDS married after the death of his 1st wife Lula E. VEAL? Also, where was he in the 1930 census? I assume Emanuel County, but can’t find them in the index on Ancestry. I’ve tried every combination of their names and not even the adult children show up. Thomas A. FIELDS, Jr. was residing in Toombs County when he died there on 5 DEC 1975. Does anyone have any info on his family? *1920 US Federal Census fro Emanuel County, GA, GA Militia District #53, Enumeration District #26: #321 & #381 FIELDS, Tom A.; Head, M, W, age 50, Married, b. GA, Mother b. GA Would like to get this straight. Info from several persons on the list indicates that Lula E. VEAL FIELDS died 21 DEC 1919, the 1920 census from Emanuel County, clearly lists her as living at the time of the census. Is the 21 DEC 1919 date from her headstone or a typo? Could it be that the correct date of death is 21 DEC 1920? Any help appreciated! Lula E. VEAL FIELDS was my grandfather’s 1st cousin. Thanks, Sandra Williams Hames
