    3. Obit for Delmar Clanton Brinson SFB 20 Mar 1991 Garden City-- Delmar C. Brinson, 72, died Thursday in Candler General Hospital. The funeral was conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from Massey Funeral Home. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The Emanuel County native was a member of Avondale Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Brinson of Garden City; two sons, John D. Brinson and Gene A. Brinson, both of Garden City; two sisters, Mrs. J.W. Roberts and Mrs Gladys Sample, both of Port Wentworth; a brother, the Rev. Frank L. Brinson of Swainsboro; and two grandchildren. Obit for John V. Brinson Swainsboro Forest Blade 22 Sep 1932 Mr. John Virgil Brinson, 68, died at his home near Blun on Friday Sept 9th. Mr.Brinson had been in ill health for about a year, and while his illness had continued over a long period his death was unexpected. He was a well-known and well liked citizen of the county and had legions of friends who are grieved at his passing. The deceased is survived by four daughters and two sons, Mrs. J.W. Roberts, Bath, S.C.; Mrs. V.V. Hill, Summit; Mrs. Stanley Burgess and Mrs. P.L. Samples, Savannah; F.L. Brinson and Clanton Brinson of Blun. He leaves also two brothers, Hugh Brinson of Brooklet and Andrew Brinson of Tybee Island. The funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, Sep 11, at Hawhammock church by Rev. C.S. Durden. Interment follwed in Hawhammock cemetery.
