    3. The inscription in the Bible, written in a much more elegant hand than Margaret's, says: "Margaret Ann Buie was born July 11th in the year of our Lord 1835" The Bible was presented to her in Sunday School in Camden, South Carolina, August 11, 1852. It is currently in the possession of a granddaughter of Margaret Ann Buie, a descendant throuth the last child born to Margaret Ann Buie, Margaret Ann Hall. It was the difficult birth of Margaret Ann Hall and a stillborn female twin, b. January 24, 1880, that is said to be the cause of Margaret Ann Buie's death a few days later. This information comes from the granddaughter in possession of the Bible. On a side note, I have a great uncle who remembers going with his father, Aaron Wilburn Hall, to tend his grandmother's--Margaret Ann Buie's--gravesite. It is supposed to be one of the first, if not /the/ first grave, at Coleman's Chapel in Jefferson County. According to my uncle, the grave is unmarked, and lies just on the other side of the fenceline of the current cemetary, near the back corner of the church. This would make sense, since some of the first graves inside the fence in that same area are the graves of Aaron Wilburn Hall and three of his wives. I haven't been able to confirm any of this, though. Genealogy research from a distance can be tough sometimes. (sigh) Lynne Carol Miller wrote: >Hi Lynne, Thanks for the information. 3. Lynne, I got the information on the first marriage from Jim Hall, but I haven't found any further information on her, the Ukn Screws. So, if Margaret was the mother of all eleven children, then she had had nine children when, at age 45, she became pregnant with twins. Wow! I have visited Coleman's Chapel a couple of times. I remember there were a number of unmarked graves. My 2great-grandfather John Choice Hall is buried there, along with his second wife Sarah Buie, and Malissa Ganus, his youngest daughter from his first marriage to my 2great-grandmother, Margaret "Peggy" Rowell. (Peggy is buried in the Juniper Hall Cemetery near Norristown). There is a marker for, I think it was Malinda Ross, first wife of Juniper Hall Jr, and I remember wondering, well, is her husband buried here or not? I did not see a marker for him. I wish that the Coleman's Chapel cemetery listings were still on-line, or at least that I had made a copy when it was. Does anyone have a copy for this cemetery? I may stop by there again sometime in the next few months, and if I do I'll take a look and see if I can find Margaret Buie's grave. I still think it likely that Sarah Buie and Margaret Buie were related. Any Buie researchers out there?
