Liz and Others on the List, I am interested in the name LENNIS. My uncle, John LENNIS LINDSEY was born April 14, 1926. He was the son of Ransom Wright LINDSEY and Zena Parmell GOFF. Parmell's parents were Sallie EDENFIELD and William Green GOFF. I also have BIRD and BROWN connections to my EDENFIELD line, although none of the names that you mention. What is the origin of the LENNIS name? Is it a surname? From where? Thanks for any insights.
