Obit for Ollie Brinson Hill Swainsboro Forest Blade 4 Mar 1987 Savannah-- Mrs. Ollie Brinson Hill, 81, died Wednesday, Feb 25, in Hillhaven Convalescent Center after a long illness. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday from Bonnybridge Baptist Church. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. A native of Emanuel County, Mrs. Hill was a charter member of Bonnybridge Baptist Church and aof Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ruby L. Bryant of Savannah, Mrs. Norma Moe and Mrs. Mae Erickson, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Virgil Ellis Hill of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mrs. Gladis Sample and Mrs Sudie Roberts, both of Port Wentworth; two brothers, D.C. Brinson of Savannah and the Rev. Frank Brinson of Swainsboro; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Terry C. Massey Funeral Home of Savannah had charge of arrangementsl. Obit for Virgil V. Hill Swainsboro Forest Blade 21 Oct 1964 Savannah--Funeral services for Virgil V. Hill, 66, of route 5, Savannah, were held this (Wednesday) afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Garden City Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Sangster officiating. A native of Emanuel County, Mr. Hill died Monday in the Memorial Hospital in Savannah after a long illness. He had been a resident of Chatham County for 39 years and was employed by Union Bag-Camp Paper Corp. He was a member of Garden City Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ollie Brinson Hill; three daughters, Mrs Ruby Bryant, Mrs. Mae Hagen, and Mrs. Norma Rey; a son, Virgil Ellis Hill; five sisters, Mrs. Bessie Reed, and Mrs. Inez Lamb of Twin City, Mrs. Lennie Duckworth of Millen and Mrs. Iris Portwood of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Fountain Funeral in charge.
