    3. Carol, I had never found the family in 1870. Malcombe (Malcom - which spelling is correct?) was in Jefferson Co in the 1880 census, Wadley district, living next door to his father Juniper Hall Jr. He was a widower, and Sarah was not listed, apparently already married to this John Atkinson. These Pope children were no longer living with the family either. Who were they, does anyone have any idea?
