Obit for Myrtice Fields Dublin Courier Herald 22 Feb 1974 Allenhurst--Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtice Duke Fields, 52, are to be held this afternoon at three o’clock in the Lothair United Methodist Church in Lothair. Burial will be in the Fowler Cemetery in Treutlen County and Sammons Funeral Home, of Soperton, has charge of the rites. Mrs. Fields, a native of Soperton, had lived in Allenhurst for 14 years. A member of the Lothair United Methodist Church, she died Wednesday in a Hinesville hospital after a brief illness. Her survivors are her husband, John Clark Fields, of Allenhurst, two sons, Elmo Fields of Hinseville, and Ken Fields of Allenhurst; her mother Mrs. Lizzie Hammock of Allenhurst; a sister Mrs. Faye Kondasdh, of Charleston, S.C.; one brother, Roy Gene Dukes of Soperton; two stepsons, Ira Hammock of Soperton, and H.D. Hammock of Dublin, two stepsisters, Mrs. Ruby Tapley, of Savannah, and Mrs. Ila Mae Shurling of Macon.
