    3. I have that Emily was born around 1859 - so it's possible that Mitter was her nickname. The 1900 Census you list below shows a child named "Mittie" - sounds familar! >Frank died the following day, at age 30. Frank's parents are Francis L. "Frank" COVENAH (1845-1912) and Mitter Lou FIELDS (1858-1910). > >Does anyone know who Frank married just the month before his death? > >Some of us have been trying to figure out who Mitter's parents are ... I haven't found her on any Census record as a child. If Frank Covena was a nephew of Sheriff T. A. FIELDS, then it stands to reason that Frank's mom was the good sheriff's sister, right? > > >1900 US Census: Jefferson Co., GA - GMD 83, Family >293, page 141B: > COVENA, Frank L. 54 > Emily A. ? 40 > Mittie 4 > >At Greenway-Fields Cemetery at Blundale: Mitter L. COVENNAH - born Jun 17, 1858; died Jul 26, 1910. "Wife of Frank L. Covennah". > >Now, here's the big question: Are Mitter Lou and Emily A. the same person?? > >I'm open to ideas! > >Carol Riner Everett > > --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean.
