<< Mr. Covena was a son of the late Frank Covena and Mittie Lou Fields Covena. He is survived by one brother, N. H. Covena, of Swainsboro; two sisters, Mrs. J. L. Richerson of Surrency, and Mrs. T. A. Canady of Garfield >> Mrs. J. L. Richerson isn't Martha/Mittie ... she is their sister Fannie. Apparently, Martha/Mittie died some time before James' death in December of 1937.
