Ben Swainsboro--Funeral for Mrs. Eathel Rich Sconyers Curry, 93, was held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2005, from the Chapel of Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary. The Rev. Ben Edwards officiated. Burial was in the Rich Family Cemetery. She died July 7, 2005, in Emanuel County Nursing Home, Swainsboro. She was born November 14, 1912 in Emanuel County. She was a retired nurse and Advent Christian by faith. She was a daughter of the late William Allen and Lillie Parrish Rich, mother of the late James Sconyers and wife of the late Walter Sconyers and Julius Curry. Survivors include a daughter Ellen Miller of Brazil, IN; two sons, George Sconyers of Alhambra IL., and Bill Sconyers of Swainsboro; one step-son, David Curry of Mt. Vernon, GA.; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers. Peebles-Curry- Durden Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
