Could some who has access to the Georgia Death Index check to see if a William Marshal Scarborough 1839-1924 shows up. I've been told he was buried in Laurens Co so I suppose that's his county of death as well. Thanks so much Jan

Sometimes they didn't get recorded other times they were recorded in the county and not the capital. I had this happen to me one time. It was in Brooks county and the death certificate was for the year 1925. The county had the death certificate, but it had not been registered. I had to wait until they registered it in Atlanta before I could receive a copy.
