Carol, Did your ALLEN ancestors move to Macon Co., Ala? My ancestor, Shadrack Perry had some business and community ties with a Frank Allen, I believe (first name could very well be incorrect...it's late, and I don't have my notes at hand)...seems like maybe "Burke Allen", this would have been in Columbus, Ga. and Macon Co. Ala. about 1830+....but before 1836. Interesting the same names keep popping up!
