My Calhouns came down from VA to NC to SC, then to GA. Although my own line settled in Montgomery County in the early 1800s, the Jefferson County ones are related to them. I have several letters written in 1949 that were in my great-grandpa Calhoun's things, and these tie many of them together. Grandpa was a genealogist, too!
