    1. Family of E.L. Thompson
    2. Carol Everett Riner: In scanning over the tree, I noticed there were several Thompson names the same as Solomon Thompson family in Wilkinson County. Did you locate the parents of Solomon Thompson born in 1836? I wonder if he could be a grandson of Solomon Thompson of Wilkinson County who died o/a 1820? Diane Thompson Dixon

    3. I think Soloman's (b 1836) parents were Hardy Columbus Thompson and Martha Williamson and he was the grandson of Ruebin Thompson and Rachel Chambers. ----Original Message Follows---- From: JDixon8671@aol.com Reply-To: GAEMANUE-L@rootsweb.com To: GAEMANUE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [GAEMANUE-L] Family of E.L. 3. It was thought for years that Hardy C. was a son of Reubin and Rachel Thompson, but more recent research by several people, mainly Bo Mosley and Marilyn Lear, has shown that he, Pheroby, and William F. were probably the children of Edy or Edith Thompson of Burke and Emanuel Counties; whether Thompson was her maiden name or she was married to a Thompson has not been proven.
