She was my grandmother. Her name was Willie Anna Scarboro. She was born on April 21, 1904 and died on February 27,1985. She is buried in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts. Willie Anna's family nickname was "Bill". Willie Anna married Estacio Maciel Ferreira on March 4, 1925. Estacio Maciel Ferreira was born Estacio Vieira Maciel on July 3,1901 in Caes, Pico Island, Azores. He died December 2,1987 in Brockton, Massachusetts. He is buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Massachusetts. The reason for the name change is Estacio was adopted by his uncle Frank Ferreira and his wife, Ida Merrill Ferreira, soon after his arrival in the United States. I have all his immigration papers, ship records, etc. Estacio's nickname was "Buzz". I also have some other information regarding Samuel and Thomas that differ from the information you have posted.
