Eleazer is a common name in the Durden Family. William Durden b.1775 d. 1845 married Mary Dekle (dau. of John L. and sallie Grissom Dekle). Their son was Eleazor b. 1809 d. 1861 married Mary Polly Barwick. William and mary dekle durden's youngest son was Ebenezer J. durden. He had a son named eleazor. William durden b. 1775 d. 1845 was not named Casper. This was eronious name found in an interview with a distant relative. William had a granson named William Jasper Durden (Son of Wm Jr. and elizabeth barwick durden) It is beleived that William durden b. 1775 was the son of John darden/durden and sarah newton durden.
