Remember that Family Tree Maker will not revert to a lower version. If you have comverted your file to a higher version with out saving a copy of the old version you will not be able to read it unless you save it in the newer version stating you want it saved to a lower version of FTM. Before you try something new you should copy and save the older version so you can revert back to it. I looked at 2005 when I was in Georgia last October and did not like what I saw so I stuck with version 11. My cousin in Savannah has had nothing but trouble from the new version 2005. But each to his own. Just remember to alway save a copy of your original file before trying something new. Andy Sims Va.
