(middle initial L.?) 54 Nancy, 53 Elizabeth 22 James 20 Augustua 18 Henry L. 16 Mikiel 13 Anna 10 James is the only child that was in the 1850 and the 1860 census. Is this the same family? Brown researchers have Henry Brown married Sarah Nancy Wiggins. We are looking for the Henry Brown married to a daughter of Curtis Cobb. Help. Thanks in advance, Claudia x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x Claudia, We appear to have two different Henry Browns here. Henry S. Brown, (1805-1883); married to Nancy Wiggins, (1808-1887), is covered in some detail in a wonderful publication, "Linkage, The Study of a Family", by Jo S. Webb. The book is, sadly, long out of print, but I believe the Public Library in Dallas, Texas has a copy and they will do look-ups and make copies for you. Henry S. was the brother of Jesse L. Brown, both sons of Henry Brown and Mary (Lewis) Brown. Jesse had a son he named Henry and this is, I think, the same Henry who married Sarah. Henry was named in Jesse's will, and his age is correct . This particular branch of our Brown tree is quite removed from my main trunk so I haven't given it all that much attention. Still in all, I find the challenge of identifying and separating all the various Henrys, James, Daniels, etc, most exciting and daunting. It's about all the excitement I get these sunset days of my life. Best wishes and good hunting, Bill Brown Orlando, Florida
