I have very little information except on my direct line, but I'll list what I know. Samuel H. (not M.) Scarborough was born September 1, 1841 in Chattahoochee County, GA. He died January 21, 1918, probably in GA, on the "old home place" near where he's buried. I have him listed as having served as a private in CO. K, 28th Regiment, GA Volunteer Infantry, Emanuel Rangers, Army of Tennessee, enlistment date September 10, 1861. I only show one marriage for him, to Susan P. Jones, born April 27, 1842 in GA. She died January 07, 1907. Their children were: George W. b. abt 1859; Rachel L., b. abt 1861; Mary Susanna, b. January 28, 1865; William A. b. abt 1867; Thomas Turner, b. abt 1868; Jacob Noah, b. abt 1874; Jane, b. abt 1878; and Martha Anne, b. date unk. I hope this helps.
