Obit Annie M. Marsh, 79 Forest Blade 22 Jun 2005 SWAINSBORO--Funeral for Annie M. Marsh, 79, will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Shady Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Page officiating. Burial will be in Swainsboro City Cemetery. Mrs. Marsh went to heaven Monday, June 20, 2005, at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Marsh will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at Peebles Curry-Durden Mortuary Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Marsh was a native of Emanuel County, worked in food service with the Emanuel County School System and was a member of Mt Shady Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Marsh and son Melvin Marsh. Survivors include five daughters, Joyce McIntee and Gail Douglas of Swainsboro; Erlene Rowland of Tampa, Fla.; Shelby Chance of Bartow; and Marie Brown of Midville; one son, Phillip Marsh of Swainsboro; three sisters, Katie Canady, Martha Nell Beasley and Jean Henry all of Swainsboro; three brothers, M D Akridge and Elzie Akridge of Stillmore; and Ralph Akridge of Swainsboro; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren Pallbearers will be grandsons. Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
