Obit for Virgil Eugene Snipes Savannah Morning News 2 Oct 1964 Virgil E. Snipes, 48, of 2106 Utah St. died yesterday at Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Surviving are is wife, Mrs. Dollie Green Snipes; a son, Richard Dean Snipes; two daughters, Mrs.Faye DeLong of Wilson, N.C., and Mrs. Linda Ogletree of Savannah; two brothers, Barney Snipes of Miami, Fla., and Sgt James S. Snipes of Fort Sill, Okla.; six sisters, Mrs. Nell Harris of Statesboro, Mrs. Clyde Hendrix of Claxton and Mrs. Jewell Langley, Mrs. Grace Brady, and Mrs. Joyce Greenway, all of Augusta; his stepmother Mrs. J.J.
