My ancestors are from Garfield, Emanuel County, I would be interested in information that you may have on that area. The surnames are Williams and Johnson: James Williams married Jency Clark, his father and mother was Ezekiel and Mary (Harden) her father was Thomas. On the Johnson side Moses married Vinnie (Polly) Hooks, their son John married Emma Williams d/o Henry Williams s/o James and Jency. I am trying to find info on the Johnson's I have not been able to find anything earlier that 1880, and on the Williams I can go back to 1850. Thanks for any help.
