Vernon, I think the article said Homer Youmans, not Edenfield. I don't know his relationship to David Edenfield. "Gone But Not Forgotten" gives directions to original gravesite: 'Go down U.S. 1 South and turn right on State Route 297. Go approximately 1/2 mile and turn left to the second gate on James Carmichael's farm. Follow the road across the field to the head of the branch. The grave marker is in a plot of chinaberry trees.' As I said, I could not find the cemetery site when I went back a few years ago.
