    3. I wanted to share two new articles on the history of Candler County that relates to the "mother" counties of Tattnall, Emanuel and Bulloch as well. The first is a detailed paper on the history of Candler County's origins by Stephen C. Taylor. Many Thanks to Stephen for making this available! http://www.candlersonsofconfederacy.homestead.com/historyofcandlercounty.html The second is a new article written by Vance Cody Harris on the Green Brothers of Candler/Tattnall. http://candlersonsofconfederacy.homestead.com/greenbrothers.html I think you will find both very interesting! If someone has the Emanuel County roots list address, please share it with them. your obedient servant, Tony Thompson 912-685-3347 (home/office) 912-682-5501 (mobile) www.kinfolksacrosstheriver.com www.dixieguards.org P.O. 3. Olivia, in checking out the web sites that you posted below I found one of my ancestors. The information indicated that he was buried in the "Davis Family Cemetery" in Swainsboro. Do you happen to know where this cemetery might be. I called one of the Funeral Homes in Swainsboro and they had never heard of it. I know it is probably going to be one out in the field or woods somewhere. I sure would like to find it and pay my respects to my GGG-Grandfather. Thanks. Perhaps someone else on the List has some directions. Olivia
