Susan Delilah Wheeler, b 4/15/1859 Emanuel Co.; Gd/o Burrell Kea, b 2/12/1810 Darlington County, SC; m. Elizabeth Tapley, b 5/25/1813, GA; Ggd/o Warren Kea, b 1784 South Carolina; m. Mary Ann "Polly" Beasley, b 1791 Darlington Co. SC; Gggd/o James Key, b c 1750 North Carolina, d c 1795 Orangeburg Co. SC; m. Elizabeth Barnes b c 1750. So if your Charles Kea of Chester County, South Carolina, was related to my James Key of Orangeburg County, SC, then yes, Aunt Myrtle's part of the Emanuel County, GA Key/Kea family was related to your Kea line. Aunt Myrtle had four brothers; her father, Thomas, had six brothers; her grandfather, Burrell, had eight brothers; and all three of these generations lived in the area of Washington, Emanuel, Bulloch and surrounding counties in GA. Unfortunately I don't have the names of any living descendants of these men who still have the Key/Kea surname, but a check of phone books in some of these counties probably would turn up the names of some possible descendants. Hope this information helps. Diane Carrington Bradford Atlanta, GA
