Ruby Dell Flanders Henry, 82 KITE--Funeral for Ruby Dell Flanders Henry, 82, was held Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 4 p.m. at Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Tommy McGee and Elder Mickey Harris officiating. Buril was in the church cemetery. She died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at the University Hospital in Augusta. Mrs. Henry was a native of Johnson County and taught school for forty-two years at Kite Elementary School. She was a member of Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church for forty years, Sunday School teacher and was mother of the late Mary Shepard. Survivors include her husband, Ebb Henry of Kite; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Eddie and Lynn Henry of Kite; and Jerry Flanders of Macon; nephew, Troy Flanders of Warner Robins; one son-in-law, Danny Shepard of Kite; six grandchildren, Misty Flanders, Ridge and April Henry, Kyle Henry, Adam Henry, Little Danny Shepard and Bud Flanders. Pallbearers were Joel Scott, Wayne Ward, Donald Peebles, Joe Williams, Mickey Garnto and Arthur Broom. Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
