My ggg-grandfather Ellis JOHNSON (1807-1863) is buried at Antioch Church Cemetery about 8 miles northeast of Warthen in Washington County. (Yes, David Love, I DID get lost trying to find it!!) From what I could tell, his is the earliest grave there. What is odd is that no one is buried near him for more than 30 feet on any side. Other families buried there include CATO, CURRY, WELCH. Does anyone know if there is a history of Antioch Baptist Church available anywhere? The church was organized in 1834. The building still stands and is used for meetings about once a year, or so I was told. Any help would be appreciated!
