She had been in poor health for several months and her death was not unexpected. Mrs Stewart is survived by her husband, H H Stewart, and one daughter, Bertie May; five brothers and one sister, Mrs Maggie Corley of Boston, Fern Johnson of Summit, Ga., J W, DC, WM and R Johnson of this place. the body will be interred Sunday afternoon at Hebron Cemetery.

Go to www.liveoakpl.org/Genealogy.htm Under "Online Resources" click on "Savannah Morning News Obituaries Index... a library volunteer database, covers 1920's and 1987-1996. Do a surname search. (you get better results with surname and no other info.) If you find an obit you are interested in, click on "contact us" (top right) and fill out the form. They will send the obits you request and inform you of the amount due. You can request up to three copies and pay $2.50 handling fee and 25 cents a copy payable to Like Oak Public Library.
