Does anyone know the location of Hooks Cemetery? It's supposed to be around Swainsboro somewhere. Jeremiah Hooks, June 4, 1838-Oct 27, 1906, is supposedly buried there. He was a Confederate soldier in Co H 48th GA Inf. Thanks. Mike
All I know is they lived in the viciniity of Garfield, according to "Salt of the Earth" by Dorothy Woodell Woods, 1981. His wife Nancy Missouri Burt Hooks' death certificate says she was living at Summit (Twin City) at the time of her death on October 2, 1926.
