Can anyone tell me who this was buried at Beech Branch Baptist in Burke Co - Chambers, Prct (b. 1805). This is from the on-line listing at the Burke genweb site.I can't figure out what this obvious name abbrevian could be. There are plenty of Murray,Thompson, Kimball, Rackley, Sapp, etc names also listed but just the one Chambers. I would also like to hear from anyone with Chambers connections to Burke Co Ga in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Carol

Carol, you probably know this already, but I had to go clear back to 1810 before I could find any Chambers listed in a Census Index in Burke County.  Then there were 2 listings then for Elisha Chambers.  However, since the 1810 Census only lists head-of-household, that doesn't really help in figuring out the person in the cemetery you mentioned that was born in 1805.  The Other Carol
