Daniel Green Hall was born 1823, died 1882 in Emanuel Co Ga. He married Mary Jane Durden, daughter of Stephen Durden and Mary Lumley. They are buried in the Juniper Hall Cemetery off Hall's Bridge Rd in Emanuel Co. Daniel served as a lieutenant during the Civil War. Was with Moring's Company, Emanuel Co Ga Infantry. He also fought in at least one of the Seminole Wars in Florida. Served as Justice of the Peace in Emanuel Co, held this office in 1861. 1850 Emanuel Census: Hall, Daniel G age 27, Martha Graham age 70 - Daniel was still single and his mother was living with him in this census. 1880 Emanuel census, District 398: Daniel G Hall 57, Mary J 44, Georgean 21, Mary 19,, Martha 19, John G 16, Neill 15, Elizabeth 13, Jane 12, Daniel 11, Curtis 9, ? Hall 3, amd Zirmamon 7. Children: 1) Georgianna b 1859. Married Francis Marion Durden. Francis was born 3/1858 in Ga. 2) Mary b 1865, d 1931. Married John Cannady. Both are buried at Oak Chapel Cemetery, Treutlen Co Ga. 3) Martha b 1865 (Martha and Mary probably twins?). Married Tony Durden. Martha and Tony were killed in a car wreck, probably buried in the Lyons area. Go 4) John G "Booger" Hall b 1866 5) Neal b 1864, d 1955. Buried New Hope Church Cem.
