_____ From: Carol Miller [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, August 09, 2008 8:58 PM To: '[email protected]' Subject: Kindred Braswell document, with Juniper Hall Here is a transcription of the original document for the deed from Kindred Braswell to Elizabeth Braswell that is signed by Juniper Hall. A Braswell researcher sent this to me. I tried to include the original document in this message but it bounced.. Notice that this is dated 10/05/1820, and Juniper Hall Sr's wife Elizabeth was deceased before December 1811. Also notice that the Elizabeth Braswell is the daughter of a Kindred Braswell JR. who was deceased on 10/05/1820. And that Juniper Hall JR is the one who witnessed this, not Juniper Sr. I find this document to be very puzzling. Can anyone figure out just who the Kindred Braswells were and who the Elizabeth Braswell was? Carol B. Miller State of Georgia, Emanuel County Know all men by their presents that I Kindred Braswell of the State and county aforesaid for and in consideration of the natural love good will and affection which I have for Elizabeth Braswell daughter of Kindred Braswell Jr deceased I do hereby give grant and convey and have by these presents given granted and conveyed unto the said Elizabeth Braswell the following property to wit Two cows & their yearlings one cow and her calf & a dry cow and two two year olds which said cattle or property and their Increase I do warrant to the said Elizabeth Braswell against myself and all of every other person or persons claiming or to claim the same by virtue of these presents In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of October Eighteen hundred and Twenty. Carol: That doesn't make any sense to me, especially considering this will excerpt you posted sometime ago, which I assume is Kindred Braswell Jr.: Dixon Hollingsworth surname card collection WILL BK "H" PP 168-176, Thomas Co Georgia Date: 5-26-1853 - Pr. 4-4-1864 Will of Kindred Braswell Estate divied into 7 parts, with following beneficiaries: "My son Meredith; My son Samuel; My son Caswell; My daughter Fanny Parramore, wife of Adam Parramore; My daughter Alsey White, wife of Joseph White; Children of my deceased son, Simeon A.
