Can anyone give me some information on this story? It happened 25 or 30 ago near Swainsboro. An above-the-ground coffin containing the remains of a beautiful young woman--as I remember it, she was the wife of a local doctor--was broken into by vandals. The coffin then showed up in Swainsboro at a well-known antiques store, and that's when the law got involved. I just want to know the name of the cemetery and the name of the deceased and her husband if anyone remembers that. The coffin was glass over the top and the girl's body could be viewed at any time in the cemetery, but when it opened, everything inside collapsed. This was the story I heard, or read; I did not see any of it. Your help is appreciated. Olivia
