Olivia, Sometime in the mid 1950's my father and I went to visit Mr. Zin Hall as he was a friend of my Father. He lived on the Normantown road in a small house that was unpainted. He told us the story about when he thought he was going to die. He said that he had been to Vidalia and was walking home at night after consuming some alcohol and passed by a church and Cemetery on his left. He thought that he was about to die so he went over to the cemetery and dug himself a grave and crawled in to die. He awoke the next morning, Sunday when people began to come to Church. He crawled out of his grave and walked on home. Mr. Zin was a pleasure to talk with and he knew a lot of history of the people and area.
