Notes for WILLIAM HALL: Second wife was Sarah Rawles. In 1850 she lived next door with Silas Rawles, probably her brother, a schoolteacher. Marriage date 2-23-1851, no children IN 1850 William Hall lived in the 28th District, Emanuel Co, household # 108: William age 58, Roxey Ann age 15, Emelia age 16, Henry age 13, Juniper Hall age 55. James Stevens administered the estate of Wm Hall deceased from Jan to Dec !857. Book C. 1858-1866, page 118. William died intestate. Carol, I had William Hall son of Juniper married 1st. to Martha Fulford, 2/13/1817 in Jefferson county, Georgia. He married 2nd. to Sarah Rawles on 2/23/1851 in Emanuel county, Georgia. There was another William Hall married to a Martha in Emanuel county in 1850. this William is of age to be married in 1817, but his wife Martha would have only been 12 years old. Wes, I don't know, the date seems a little early based on the children's ages though. This is the first I've heard of a Martha Fulford being a possibility of a first wife for William. Some of William's children did live in Jefferson County and there seem to be ties there, so maybe. A couple of William's descendants have said her name was Sarah, but that could be wrong, just like we don't know for sure that Juniper Sr was married to Elizabeth. I've also heard that he was married to a Sarah. Does anyone else have anything on this William Hall/Martha Fulford marriage?
