The following obituary was in the Orlando Sentinel Monday, August 04, 2008. Allen E. Edenfield EDENFIELD, ALLEN E., 63, of Mount Dora, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008. Allen was born in Metter, GA, on November 11, 1944 to M.R. Edenfield and Tressie V. Rewis. He moved to Mount Dora from Georgia in 1948, and was a warehouse manager for Mid-Florida Freezer of Plymouth, FL, for 30 years. Allen is survived by his wife, Suzanne Broome Edenfield of Mount Dora; his son, Tyrone Edenfield; his two daughters, Becky Beaver and Loretta Edenfield; his sister, Margaret Copeland; his two step-sons, Charlie Adkison and Justin Witnauer; his two step-daughters, Shawn Adkison and Lisa Adkison; his five grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, from 5-7PM at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home. 1800 N. Donnelly St., Mount Dora. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at 11AM with Rev. Ron Holder officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora.
