Hello list, I'm going to post what I have on Juniper Hall's children, but take them one at a time. I've been working on Travis's family lately, so I'm going to start with him. Travis Francis Hall was born 11/02/1816 in Emanuel Co Ga, and died 9/22/1904 in Emanuel Co Ga. The death date is based on the short obit from the Swainsboro Forest Blade dated 9/22/1904: "Unlce Travis Hall died at the home of his daughter , Mrs. Kate Wickstrum last Monday. Uncle Travis was one of the oldeset men in the county, being about 90. He was one of the most liberal men that ever lived and everybody that knew Uncle Travis as he was, was his friend." I think that his body was moved to Florida and that he was buried on 7/16/1907, which is usually given as his death date. He was buried in the New Shiloh Cemetery along with other family members. He married Martha Moore on 8-30-1848 in Emanuel Co Ga. Who were her parents? I have some old files that say her father was Drewry Steely Moore, but I'm not at all certain that that is correct. There are plats that showed he owned 400 acres and another 40 acres of land. There may have been more. He lived in the area around Norristown, and I remember seeing a post that said his old homestead was still standing late into the 20th century. Does anyone know if it is still there? In 1850 he lived in District 28. In 1860 he was in District 395 where he remained until his move to Florida, which occurred after 1880, but not sure when. I have heard descendants say that his wife Martha always said that she "married at 14 and had 14 children." With parents, apparently widowed, 1880 Em. census, with one yr old son Henry Hutchinson. 4) Lyman b 6/15/1858, d Dec 22, 1927. Married Teresa Williamson on 8/01/1886, Montgomery Co Ga. 5) Elam b 1860, d 1961, Ga. Married Mary Francis "Mollie" Lumley, 11/08/1893, Montgomery Co Ga. 6) Emily Florence b 1864; m. Lewis Cogle Durden b 3/04/1872, Emanuel Co Ga 7) Edeline "Eddy" Hall, b 1865. 8) William Juniper Hall b 1867, called Juniper. 10) George Hall b 1872, Emanuel Co Ga, d 6/05/1956, Altha Fl, buried New Shiloh Cem. Married Harvie Trull on 3/20/1897 Wright Williamson?, Harvie was born 7-01-1879 in Johnson Co Ga and died 11/02/1972 in Altha Fl. 11) Dora Hall b 1873. 12) Francis J Hall b 1875. 13) Algerine "Bunks" Hall b 1876, Emanuel Co Ga died 1961 Calhoun Co Fl, buried New Shiloh Cem.
