Carol, Thank you so much for the list of Roberts men that could possibly be Georgia Mae's husband. I had found a W. Roberts, B: 9 Sep 1900, D: Jan 1981 listed as living in Lake Wales, which is in Polk County but the death certificate states that Georgia owned her own home in Lakeland so guess that rules the above W. Roberts out. I have a thought for you. If the second William H Roberts on the list had been her husband, that would have only given her 7 years from the time she left Augusta to be married and have 5 children before he died. I guess it is possible but not probable unless there were twins. What do you think? I will hazard a guess that her husband was William Howard Roberts. I wonder where we can get a copy of her marriage license? Thanks to you and everyone who have been so helpful in this search. I'll keep you updated should anything else develop.
