It is my understanding (from the Lawson family) that Sarah Wyatt died before 1836, and those three children were born to his second wife, who remains unknown. I don't know this for sure, and I don't know how the family has come to that conclusion, nor do I know how to check on her prior to 1850. In the 1850 Jefferson County census, Albert P. and Rebecca are living three doors away from a Wyatt family: William 43, who is probably a brother to Sarah, Martha 65 (probably her mother), Sarah 22, and William I., 1; this Sarah is probably a daughter of William and the baby her son.
